Vancouver-based outdoor apparel company Arcteryx and Google's artificial intelligence (AI) spinoff Skip have partnered to create groundbreaking hiking trousers that seamlessly integrate technology into the outdoor experience.

The pants, part of Arcteryx's spring/summer 2023 collection, boast a number of AI-driven features designed to enhance safety, navigation, and performance on the trail. Using proprietary algorithms, the trousers can provide real-time navigation instructions, track fitness data, and analyze trail conditions using data from the cloud.
