Kristaps Porziņģis made a triumphant return to the lineup after missing the past four games with an ankle injury. The Latvian forward scored 19 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in his first game back.

The Celtics' defense was outstanding, holding the Mavericks to just 39.4% shooting from the field. Luka Dončić, the Mavericks' leading scorer in the playoffs, was limited to just 20 points on 6-of-20 shooting.
