Basketball at the 2024 Summer Olympics

Four teams have secured the final spots for the men's basketball tournament at the Olympic Games

The defending champion United States, along with Spain, France, and Australia, have all qualified for the tournament. The remaining eight teams will be determined through qualification tournaments that will be held in 2023.

Group Phase

The 12 teams that have qualified for the tournament will be divided into three groups of four teams each. The top two teams from each group will advance to the quarterfinals.

• Group A: United States, Spain, France, Serbia
• Group B: Australia, Canada, Italy, Germany
• Group C: Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Nigeria

The group phase will be played from July 26 to August 3.

Knockout Phase

The quarterfinals will be played on August 5 and 6. The semifinals will be played on August 8 and 9. The gold medal game will be played on August 11.
