Champions League Live on TV Today: Watch FC Bayern & Stuttgart at Real Madrid

Champions League Matchday 5: Stuttgart and Bayern Munich Look for Wins

The UEFA Champions League reaches its penultimate group stage matchday on Tuesday with two key matches for German clubs.

Group D features a blockbuster match between Real Madrid and Inter Milan with group leaders Real looking to move to the brink of qualification. Of more interest to German fans is the simultaneous match between Shakhtar Donetsk and FC Sheriff.

Sheriff stunned Real Madrid and drew with Inter in the first two matchdays and wins will see them qualify for the knockout stages for the first time. For Shakhtar, anything less than a win would see them eliminated.

In Group B, Liverpool are looking to wrap up first-place with a draw at home to Porto. Second-place Atletico Madrid welcome AC Milan to Spain knowing that defeat could see them drop into the Europa League.

Bayern Munich needs a win in Barcelona to get their Champions League campaign back on track. Barcelona are already out of contention and could field a weakened side.

Stuttgart will be looking to book their place in the knockout stages of the UEFA Champions League when they travel to face Zenit St. Petersburg on Tuesday.

FC Bayern Munich hoping for repeat performance

FC Bayern Munich will be looking to repeat their impressive performance from the first leg when they face Real Madrid in the Champions League on Tuesday.

The German champions were in dominant form in the first leg, winning 4-0 at the Allianz Arena. Leroy Sane, Joshua Kimmich, Jamal Musiala, and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting all got on the scoresheet as Bayern made a statement of intent.

Real Madrid will be without several key players for the match, including Karim Benzema, Luka Modric, and Dani Carvajal.

Stuttgart aim to qualify for knockout stages

VfB Stuttgart will be looking to qualify for the knockout stages of the UEFA Champions League when they travel to face Zenit St. Petersburg on Tuesday.

The German club is currently second in Group A, one point behind leaders Manchester City. A win in Russia would see them qualify for the knockout stages for the first time in their history.

Zenit is third in the group, two points behind Stuttgart. The Russian club needs a win to keep their hopes of reaching the knockout stages alive.
